APW cross country runners earn strong finishes at OHSL championships

The Altmar-Parish-Williamstown varsity boys cross country team turned in strong performances Wednesday at the Onondaga High School League (OHSL) Patriot National League Championships, held in Tully.
Leading the way for the Rebels was Noah Spencer, who completed the course in 18 minutes, 24 seconds, placing ninth overall among 90 runners and fifth in his division. His performance earned him first-team All-League honors.
Teammate Jacob Rolon also delivered a strong showing, finishing in 28 minutes, 38 seconds, a time that was close to his personal best.
The Rebels will conclude their season at the Section III championships next Saturday, Nov. 7, looking to build on their performances at the league meet.
Congratulations to Spencer and Rolon on their efforts, and best of luck to the Rebels as they prepare for sectional competition.
