Katie Schick Sets All Time Point Record

History was made this January, when APW Senior Katie Schick passed a 30 year point record in a basketball game against Lafeyette. Schick went into the game only needing to score 12 points to surpass the record, originally set in 1996 by Shonna Sargent. When the buzzer sounded at the end of the game, Schick walked away with a new school record and personal career best, putting 40 points on the board against Lafeyette.
Her story was featured in Oswego County News Now’s Athlete of the Week segment. For the full feature, visit Oswego County New’s Now Athlete of the Week: Katie Schick.
APW is proud of all that Schick has accomplished on and off the court as a Rebel. Here’s to continued success throughout the rest of your senior year and beyond, Katie!
